Hey there!

I'm Holly Ross

I’m a UI / UX Designer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have a passion for good design based on human-computer interaction. I love to design software that is both usable and eloquent. When I'm not designing interfaces, I'm usually hiking or playing video games.

My Career so far

For the past 4 years, I have been creating end-to-end experiences and unifying designs through the creation of enterprise wide design systems. Before I started designing interfaces, I worked as a front-end developer through a student run company at Abilene Christian University where I gained my Bachelors degree in Computer Science.

My Experience

I definitely have a where there's will, there's a way attitude. I quickly learn and adapt to overcome any and all challenges.

Currently, I have taken lead on the redesign of Amerisure.com. I am also working along side one of Amerisure’s first product teams to introduce UX and UCD to the development process. I am advocating for the user while working to transform the insurance experience by making a fractured and time consuming experience holistic. I am also working as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, and UX Designer for a small team to complete usability upgrades to Amerisure’s customer facing portal.

iHeartMedia

UX /UI Designer

Aug 2018 — Oct 2021

I both lead and assisted in the design of many internal applications using design thinking while advocating for users. I quickly learned about the company’s many different internal processes in order to design a holistic experience. I both lead and worked as the primary designer to redesign and bring cohesion to the internal design system used by 6+ applications.
